S.A.T. is a great supplement for the liver. It both protects the liver and helps regenerate old and/or damaged liver cells. It is composed of three herbs: (1)The antioxidant activity of silymarin(Milk Thistle) stabilizes the membranes of liver cells, neutralizes free radicals and maintains liver glutathione levels: (2) curcumin (Tumeric) has strong anti-inflammatory properties wich positively impact SGOT and SGPT levels; (3) cynara scolymus (Artichoke) has a long history of use in hepatic support, and is reported to have cholesterol and triglyceride lowering properties.
